We use the software we write about. Really use it. We really use our Macs, and were once beginners ourselves. Our love of Macs has taken us through the hills and valleys of operating systems and the problems you may encounter on your own journey, so our books are written in a friendly way to guide you through rough spots and open your eyes to the landscape to ensure you won't miss any important sights along the way.

Our books are not "bibles" or "quickstarts," but real-world, user-friendly reference books in a series format.
